Some day ago we wrote a post about how to stick a wordpress post to the homepage of wordpress blog. In this post we are going to tell you how to show any number of posts on the WordPress blog’s homepage or frontpage. By default the number of posts in the homepage is set to 10. Most blogger set thumbnail pictures that displayed on the homepage. But it can slow down your homepage in terms of page loading speed. So you can reduce your posts count in the homepage to reduce page loading time. You can set your posts count to 5 or 7 or any number you want.
In our recent post we have written about how to define different roles for different wordpress user. As you know wordpress has 6 roles and and every role can do a set of task called capabilities. For example, author can write posts, edit posts but subscriber cannot. Again editor can publish posts but contributors cannot. By default a set of capabilities is pre-assigned to each role or user.
If you are using WordPress you can define different roles for different users. Site owner can control what user can do and can not do. Site owner can manege the user capability such as writing posts, editing posts, creating categories, deleting posts and pages etc. WordPress has 6 roles that you can set for your users: Administrator, Author, Editor, Contributor, Subscriber, Super Admin.
If your blog contents are really good then you may notice that your blog posts or images are being copied by others. There is no 100% guarantee to protect them from being stolen. But still you can protect them from normal users by disabling right click and text selection on your blog. Because you know normally to copy an image you need to right click on the image or to copy text you need to select text. So if you disable both two function, it will be difficult to copy. In this post we are going to show you how to disable right click and text selection on wordpress blog to protect blog content.
In Previous post we wrote about how to show only selected labels to blogger blog. But if you notice, you will see that every labels are showing number of posts. Actually it is showing quantity of posts each label contains. You may be thinking to hide the number count beside labels. There are some reason to remove them, such as if your blog is new and number of posts count for each category is 4 or 5 or less, it is better to hide them.
Removing posts count beside labels will give your blog a nice look.
Label is one of the best feature of blogger. By adding labels you can organize your blog posts into category. You can apply one or more labels to each of your blog post. You can also say labels as category. After adding them to your blogger posts you have to add a Gadget called labels then they will be displayed on your blog at the sidebar or below header. The main purpose of this post is to show how to display only selected labels on blogger blog. For example if you have total 20 labels and you want to show only 10 specific labels.
In our recent post we wrote about How to float any content to your WordPress. In this post we will show you how to add a dynamic widget area to beginning of each posts. You can add any widget of your blog to top of your every posts. This can be used to display your email subscription form to the beginning of your WordPress posts.

Avatar is an image that appears beside your name while commenting. Whenever you will comment on a site or blog including yours the avatar will show. If you notice carefully you can see the default avatar in your wordpress blog is set as Mystery man avatar for all the users including you. But as a admin of your blog you may want to show your own picture as your avatar picture in your WordPress blog. So whenever you will interact with others they can see your picture.
In this post I am going to tell you how to change permalinks structure of your WordPress blog. In default your WordPress posts permalinks will look like http://yourblog.com/?p=4. But it does not looks good from any side. For Search engine optimization the default wordpress permalink structure is not search engine friendly. In the other side a permalink tells us about the article. But http://yourblog.com/?p=4 tells nothing about your post. Nobody can guess what is written about in the post. But for example if you use http://yourblog.com/wordpress-tips/ as your permalink structure then everybody can easily guess that this post is written about wordpress tips.
